Young Earth is run out of our home/office near Trentham, Victoria. The building is made of mudbrick and recycled timber with a mud slurry render in colours natural to this area. Our 20 acre block is adjacent to the Wombat state forest and has a mixture of ecological vegetation classes including Sedgy Riparian Woodland and Shrubby Foothill Forest. Our block is also home to numerous species of flora and fauna and a number of our trees contain tree hollows.

Our power and hot water are provided by the sun and our water is rainwater caught off our roof. For heating we burn natural tree falls from our own land. We believe that especially in these times each of us should do all we can to be as low impact as possible.

We are Land for Wildlife members amd are involved with the local Wombat Forestcare group.
