Young Earth provides training in at the Trentham and Woodend Neighbourhood Centres.

  • Introduction to computers - From turning on your machine to typing a letter, sending an email and searching the internet.
  • Continuing computers - A relaxed extension class that aims to build confidence whilst introducing more skills.
  • Computers in a week - A one week 20 hour course aimed at those trying for entry into the work force who lack any computer skills. It is also suitable for people who are time poor and need computer skills in a hurry.
  • Introduction to computer graphics - Learn to use a paint and photo manipulation program (The GIMP) to correct photos, create multi-layered images and learn the basics of pixel based computer graphics.
  • Advanced computer graphics - Learn how to use a computer illustration program (Inkscape). Combine GIMP and Inkscape to create original artwork.
